Tom Pinnegar is a documentary and travel photographer and writer, currently based in Georgia. His particular interest is in political and ethnic divisions and unions - whether real or imagined - and their tangible impacts on people and nations.

Recent work has taken him though Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania and the Gallipoli battlefields of Turkey, as well as parts of the former Soviet Union - Georgia and Central Asia.

With more than a decade of experience in the darkroom, black and white film is still a preferred medium, but colour film and digital both have their place in his work.
